firsts.

dallin had his very first "solid food."
homemade, whole wheat, organic pie crust with ground flax seeds.

he gives his compliments to the chef.

anna created her first (and hopefully last) monotone wall mural.
it's title - "baby"
she did NOT earn a blue ribbon...just a job as a housekeeper.

on a positive note, i was ecstatic that she happened to find "crayola" and not "sharpie" like justin, her predecessor did as a 2 yr. old.
i have renewed love of semi-gloss paint.

justin successfully accomplished his first ice cream purchase from the pedro, the neighborhood ice cream man after several unsuccessful, teary-eyed attempts.
however, it was NOT his first time wasting his allowance money .
when did twin pops start costing a dollar?!?

i'm just glad he willingly shared his spoils with anna.

I LOVE the new look of your blog!! Beautiful. And, I love the post. Very lovely firsts for all three. :)

We are definately going to have to get some of that kind of paint. Whatever we have washes off with the "artwork" on our walls.

Cute new blog! It was fun to read about the firsts happening at your home. I do feel bad about Anna's first, but luckily it was washable! I can't believe how big your baby is getting. they grow up way too fast.

As everyone else already said, the blog looks totally cute! I also enjoy the pictures. Oh how I longed to get ice cream from the ice cream man as a kid! Your little boy is living out my childhood dream, very cute!

1. I would be making that little chef be on the changing end of that diaper!

2. I feel your pain, sista! We hide Sharpees around our house. I just went and stocked up on the Magic Erasers, I could send some your way if you need some.

3. We have told Thomas that when those white trucks with all the ice cream pictures is playing music, it means that he is all out of ice cream. That is a lie I don't feel bad telling. My bad.

You make reading about normal, ordinary occurances fun and exciting with your pictures and writing skills. Plus I LOVE your "subjects". LOVE, MOM

So funny!! The crayon- well not so funny, but when it's all cleaned up you can laugh! The ice cream man is a total rip off! Here I thought the prices were high when I let the kids use their allowance, but it was only .75n ot a dollar! I then explained they could put their money together and buy a whole box at wal-mart- they liked that idea much better!

Ha! I like the mural. So mischievious and adorable. I haven't blogged in a while cuz my computer cord caught on actual fire with smoke and everything. I went to the apple store to get a new one and it was 79.00. Yeah. So I had to hunt down my laptop from my sister's. I love your new motif! I found your breast pump. I'm holding it hostage til you read twilight. My party is on the 20th...check your mail!

Elijah snuck a pack of gum on the conveyor belt at the grocery store. He is currently earning the $1.18 he owes me for buying it!

The new pictures at the top of your page are SO cute! This was a cute post! The math curriculum I use is Investigations. My mom helped me pick it out--she's familiar w/it, too, from all her teaching experience. It's nice to know you also endorse it. ;)
