Play Kitchen Kraziness

A bit of advice. If you can't decide weather to buy the $40 play kitchen or the $95 kitchen, you should ask yourself... do I want to spend the $55 extra or get two additional helpers and spend two hours building the thing from scratch. There's a reason for the large price difference. Grandma and grandpa had no idea what they were getting themselves into... I'm just lucky they decided to get it out of the box before leaving!

At a My Gym Party...

My kids absolutely loved going to their cousin's birthday party. Anna got to pursue her intense love for climbing.

Justin was a maniac at my gym. It really made me aware of how much energy he really has and needs to get out. He ran and played almost nonstop for 2 hours...I was amazed. I would love a kid gym at home...more realistically, how about we put in a backyard?!?

Adventures in brianhead.

So many fun things while staying in Brianhead....

Patrick considered quiting his job and taking up rock skipping...not just yet though.

Notice something about Justin, other than that he is super excited? He's not wearing shoes or a shirt....This was taken while the only set of clothes we brought for him on the trip were being washed...yes, Patrick packed them but they just didn't make it into the van! He is also missing his shoes...Maybe they are still on the shore at Navajo Lake! He went to church barefoot the next day as a result.

A Morris Adventure Through Mammoth Caves

A Morris Adventure Through Mammoth Caves ..but not in order.

We barely could fit through this hole. My pants even got pulled right down as I went through....Anna fit through just fine though.

This is us just after we all make it out alive...and happy to see the light of day.

This is an entrance to Mammoth cave....or an exit if you can't manage to fit out the other end of the maze.

No, we didn't decide to lock this cute fella up...he's on a spelunking adventure. Above Brian Head in the mountains is Mammoth Caves... We decided to go all together and have fun in the dark. It was way more challenging than I had imagined, especially with Anna in a sling on my chest. It feels good to accomplish something difficult. Just not when you are wedged between boulders and twisting your body through and feeling anxious to take a deep breath, hoping you will just get out soon....Anna was sure ready by the end of our adventure.

Burried Treasure...well, kind of.

Ever go on a treasure hunt? A modern version is called Geo Caching...not done with maps but with a GPS tracking unit. While on a vacation in Brianhead we went together and found the Cache ( my first time going with Patrick and Justin.) I've always thought it to be a bit goofy but enjoyed getting to go on a "hike with a purpose and destination" as I've always called it. Basically you download a location from a site then follow your GPS unit to find it. There is usually a little box, pen, a log book and maybe if you are lucky you will get a dinky little toy. Human's do funny things sometimes huh?!?!?

She Looks how I feel

Anna is making the perfect expression to describe how I feel about not having added to this blog in nearly a year! It's not just the blog, lots hasn't been getting done since we moved last November. It's pretty crazy that it's taken 10 months to feel life was working efficiently enough to get to something like this.....Plus, Justin is at preschool this morning and Anna is taking a nap!:)
