FULL!

Now that Spring is here and the rain is at a minimum, it seems that every spare moment is spent working out in the yard! A few weeks ago, I decided it was time for a break!

At the last minute, we signed up for a 2 day, 1 night "Outdoor School" an hour from home with a bunch of families we used to go to a co-op with. Believe me, it was hard to pull away with so much to do around the "farm", but it was so perfect and I knew that it would be a great experience!

The kids loved learning from the older teens and being mostly outside, even with chilly winds. They played and ran and hiked and had a great time learning lots about science! It was during the week, so it was nice that it was close enough for Patrick to drive from work to meet us for the night. We loved the cute little basic cabin....with a heater!

With a bunch of happy kids who didn't want to leave and an exhausted mommy, we headed home.

On the way back, we stopped by a friends house to get some elk she had to spare since her family didn't like it and she thought we would enjoy it. Boy did we ever! YUM! She also gave us several huge bags of clothes for Devon!

Closer to home we picked up our weekly goat milk that is dropped off by the farmer at a friends house! While there, she generously shared some kale starts from her plant that had gone to seed, extra egg cartons, sprouting potato seed and even a comfrey plant...which I have been wanting for some time!

As I was getting packed up, I just had to stop and take a picture! With the camping stuff plus all of the gifts, my van was filled. I couldn't help but think of it as a small window into my life.

Just like the van, life is full of crazy wonderful things...even if it is quite chaotic and a mess in general. I am so blessed by the bounty the world has to offer. When I think about fitting another baby into my life...or my car for that matter, it's hard to imagine how it will all fit, but with the Lord's help, I know it will!

You can always send them over the back seat! ;) There was a tiny entrance from the other door this time though! I am blessed. :)

Wow, such generous friends. Where you live reminds me of what life must have been like in the 60's or something. I mean that in a good way!
