Atticus does this all the time with his baby doll and I love it. It's adorable.

Madeleine did this too. The best form of flattery!

That's too funny. My kids never really did that... probably because my oldest two are boys and we just never had a doll in the house and Baby Girl hasn't ever really seen anyone nurse a baby before...

Very smart little girl!!

Clara hasn't done this with her dolls, but she has discovered her own baby boobs and has tried nursing off herself more than once. I really need to get a picture of her doing it, because it is priceless!

It is a motherly iinstinct. I remember doing this. I never saw my mom nurse a baby. Cute. Good for you to grab a camera.

That is so funny! Colette did that when I nursed Kallin... haha! So cute! And I will for sure call you when I make some more bows! I am going to learn the cute ribbon ones too! Just start collecting cute bunches of flowers at places you go (i.e. walmart, joannes, etc) and we will swap, I will share clippies and some of my flowers, you share yours! **I think it will work well because no one wants 3-5 of the same flower bows! Im good for a bit, but when I see cute flowers I am going to buy them, and when I get the itch, I will call you!!

I am surprised how much Anna does this without a younger one around. I even weaned her the earliest, probably around 14-15months. I guess those fond memories are lasting:)
I did get the book. Did you? I'm still in the first section. I saw your food blog. I'm so excited to check in with it again. I think mine is going to die of malnorishment:(

My daughters used to do this ... but usually only when the new baby arrived. I love it.

P.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
