Fun Filled Fourth!

The ward Fourth of July breakfast and bike parade... I loved: seeing all of the kids ride around on their fancy bikes, watching Anna ride in the radio flyer with her favorite dog Frank and eating the lovely watermelon and berry pancakes!
The wonderful bbq thrown by our friends Michelle, Jason and Ruth: Jason works for TNT and got THOUSANDS of dollars worth of fireworks for us to enjoy for free. Jason sure enjoyed putting on the display..It was VERY LOUD, SMOKEY, BRIGHT and EXCITING! It was the 1st year Justin loved the fireworks. Anna couldn't figure out what was going on!
My dad's cul-d-sac fireworks EXTRAVAGANZA...Every year it just gets better and better....A guy down his street spends thousands on the "other kind" of fireworks and puts on a wonderful show for us. The pictures don't do it justice. Thousands of dollars up in smoke... What a fun night!
NEW!!! The Afflecks took some great footage... go to their blog to see for yourself.

Thousands?! Kerry Merback said it would be just as entertaining watching someone hold up a hundred dollar bill and lighting it on fire one after another because people spend a ridiculous amount of money on fireworks.
I got a message from you on my answering mach today but we were across town at Elijah's rec class. If we were home we would love to have you over. So since we missed you (and still do) we will come over to your house this week. We are available Tuesday Thursday, and Friday. We'll give you a call or you can call us.

Wow what fun! Those are some great pics that you took. Your kids look so cute all dressed up in their radio flyer for Independence day!

Love the analogy Audrey! I sure don't get burning up money, but it's fun to watch others do it. I've probably spent $5 my whole life (including when I was a kid)on fireworks. Jason got his for free at least since he works there. It showed me how little they actually cost the company to make them since the extras were handed out like candy!

Dallan's general firework theory is why buy 10 $10 fireworks? Instead it is wiser to buy 1 $100 dollar firework... I kind of agree! I verified that firework that went side to side was called "the sidewinder" & was not on a mecanical contraption... just a great firework! So glad we could see you!
