Unsolved Laundry Mysteries.

I know you've all wondered as I have....

Where do all of the missing socks go??

When will laundry learn to put itself away??

But I think I may be alone in my quandary,
"Why did my dryer eat one of the few maternity shirts I own ???"
It's taken small nibbles out of several other items but has never been this vindictive.
I think I will commence a laundry strike until this matter is resolved.

And another thing: Why is my laundry never done?!?!?

I feel your pain. Especially because today, I am doing some laundry. I try to do it once a week.... but no.... I have alot more. And it totally stinks. I wouldn't hire a cleaning lady, If I had to choose I would hire a laundry maid! HAHA!

I would be getting a new dryer if i were you! and yes i wonder about why the laundry doesn't just do itself. My MIL loves laundrya and i love it when she comes. I call her the laundry fairy!

I HATE laundry. (I never say hate) I feel your pain. Just the ohter day I was in tears over the fact that laundry is never done. I have tried to do 3 loads a day to stay on top of it. But feel absolutely overwhelmed if i miss a day! Why can't we all just be naked?!

My problem is that I am wondering where those mysterious stains come from. They seem to manifest themselves after they have been laundered. What's going on? I want to know why I'm never finished with laundry myself.

Who knew your dryer had teeth? And by the looks of it, pretty sharp ones, too!

I have a friend who is a serious minimalist and as such only needs to do laundry maybe twice a week. I admit, I'm intrigued because the fewer clothes the family has...

Ahhhhh I too do not like laundry. My dryer is running as we speak and a mountain of clothes looms on my couch. What in the heck is with the dryer nibbles? I have never heard of anything like that. I'd be googling that asap and getting a new dryer!

Your dryer is on the fritz. U better get that replaced before more favorite clothes become dustcloths!

Ha ha! Well the nice thing about it is when something gets ruined or lost you get to go shopping for more! :) Oh but when those missing items are found that just means more laundry! :( Laundry, always a losing battle!

I did my Laundry today too and I hate doing laundry. I think I hate Folding and Putting away more than putting it in the Washer and Dryer. I always do my laundry in front of the TV while the Boys watch a Movie and by the time I go back and forth putting them in diffrent rooms half of my piles of folded laundry are strung across the room because my boys think its funny to mess up my piles. UGH !!!!
I do think you should probably look into a new dryer that dosen't look good. Good Luck !!!!

At least you have a cool hanging rack. My resting spot for laundry is the couch! I swear, they should sell love seats in the appliance section of Sears because after all, you need a washer, dryer, and couch to complete all the necessary steps in the laundry process!

I agree with Amy, all my clothes end up on the couch once washed and dryed. My dryer has teeth as well, I thought it could be moths at first. My least favorite part is also folding and putting away.

I DESPISE laundry. Not so much the loading and transfer of the machines, but the unending pile of clothes that are constantly around me, just waiting to be folded. Half the time, clothes don't even make it out of the clean baskets before they get worn. Arg, I am such a bad wife! But my Husband loves me anyway!

My last dryer started eating my clothes too. I finally realized I would be paying more to replace all the clothes than to just replace the dryer. There is nothing worse than being punished with less clothes for actually doing laundry. I feel your pain!

As I stare at the pile of laundry on my bed, that's been sitting there now for over a week, and dig to find some clean shorts for Jaxon, I must say, I feel your pain! Well, at least the laundry part... but I don't have a man eating dryer. Good luck with that... Thanks for finding my blog, Julie! I love new blogs to peruse!

Well, I resolved to have a heavily chewed up shirt once in a while...I probably have lost 9 or 10 items of clothing in the past 18 months of living here. That's like 1 every other month. That shirt luckily only cost me $1 at a garage sale and all the other clothes were Anna's lightweight onesies or cotton t-shirts which I paid little for or got free. I would have to have over 1000 shirts eaten up at $1 each or 100 at $10 each... At the current rate of destruction it will take well over 10 years for my dryer to eat it's cost in cheep shirts... Only time will tell how this saga ends.

Oh my goodness! You need to put your laundry in time out!
I had a shirt and a pair of pants that did that one time... but I think it had more to do with the insanely toxic chemical I spilled on them... oops!!
