The reason for my drastic drop in blog attendance and participation....
Last Monday, May 19th this was the forecast:
Monday: 110° F 79° F Clear
Tuesday: 106° F 76° F 41° Clear
Wednesday: 88° F 63° F Partly Cloudy
Thursday: 79° F 61° F Chance of T-Storms 20% Chance Precip
Friday: 81° F 63° F Chance of T-Storms 20% Chance Precip
The weather has been even better in real life and is still wonderful. There has only been light rain and lovely cloud coverage and Below 80 since Wed. Right now it is 67, and I love it!
Yeah, it's boring to talk about the weather, but I can't help but enjoy how beautiful it is....mainly because last week it was so hot!
We've been working on our porch/yard and hope to have pictures soon....before it's 110 again!

I am so dreading the dry hot temps in a few weeks....we have stocked up on sunscreen, lotion, and chap stick.......
Yes... I love these cool temperatures too!! It saves on our AC bill$$... but thank heaven we do have AC available when it does get back to 110 etc. The patio makes it soooo much cooler!

We have been enjoying the same kind of weather. BEAUTIFUL! Last year we hit a high of 121... I am not hoping for a repeat this year :S
I wish our weather had been that cool the past week. It's warmed up here! The pool temp is perfect now, though (87!) Enjoy your perfect weather while it lasts, which probably won't be long!
Utah weather was very pleasant, so I'm glad to see that Vegas weather is still tolerable. :)

It's funny how consumed one can be about the weather. I remember listening to my grandparents talk for hours on end about rain and heat and bla bla bla, and it drove me crazy. As an adult, I set my alarm to wake me up just before MPR news gives the weather for the day, but if the weather man is wrong, watch out I am totally psychotic & lost for the whole day. Look what old age does to people.
