All I wanted for Christmas...

Justin will be singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth," for 3-5 Years!!!!!!!!! It freaked me out when the doctor told me Justin would have to be put under anesthesia to have his dental work done so, I put it off. That was the worst possible choice ever! When he told me his teeth hurt I finally called, but it was too late. The dentist said the only thing to be done was to extract them! I was shocked! So not only would he have to be put out but he would loose his teeth as well. It was a pretty traumatic experience for me to sign a waiver mentioning death, to see him go into the off limits rooms of the surgical center, while I waited outside for hours, then see him hysterical when coming off of the anesthesia. Not exactly an experience a mom likes to blog about, but I couldn't avoid posting toothless pictures forever! We've always tried to take care of his teeth but it obviously wasn't enough! We've added flossing to Anna's routine and will take her into the dentist soon in hopes to avoid this Trauma. Hopefully my other kids got my teeth genes! The good thing is that after a week of learning a new way to chew, Justin could care less!

Someone is Excited!

Justin's favorite gift from Santa...Can you tell?
Grandma & Grandpa Austin got them this train set. They love it!
These Boots gave me Mom points that will last through Justin's teen age years.
Justin's dream come true! He has always been obsessed with any type of shoes, but especially boots. When "writing" a note to Santa, the only nice thing he could say is, "I like your boots, but you scare me." This kid is a SHOE BOY!!!! He has thanked me 20+ times for them. Notice the MASSIVE size... I thought I'd get them just a bit big to make it worth it. I later realized that kid's don't wear size 2 until they are 6 or 7! Lucky thing he could care less!

Christmas Eve

The Cell Phone wins! Anna did enjoy presents...Just between breaks when not playing with the cell phone!
Great tool box for Patrick...It's built in our garage but is yet to harbor a single tool. Is that my job?

I love how grandma has been getting the kids new Christmas books each year. I love the one, Room For a Little One!

Oh the lengths advertisers go to be noticed!

Scratch and sniff pop -up book style two page spread!

Why I was so enthralled by this who knows...but I was. The 3 Musketeers folks are paying big bucks to be noticed and it worked on me (all except for the fact that I'll probably never buy the candy.) I'm always interested in how companies advertise and this is the fanciest yet. I wish my pics did it justice! EAT 3 Musketeers Mint Chocolate !
